as in the thoughtless, insensitive, uncaring Kleinian/Redfordian times, was first posed by Robert Frost:
The question that he frames in all but words
Is what to make of a diminished thing.
Each individual in this province has to pose that question to him/herself, and decide what his/her response is to the oil-obsessed/Grinchian-to-all else focus. “What, indeed, can I make or do in response to the diminished thing which is Alberta of entitled fatcat Conservative times?”
And given the sorry state of our mad, mad world, I think the same question is very valid and relevant in a larger way–What can one make of the ‘diminished’ world we live in?
