Last evening at Festival Place. Great, unique sound/s that had everyone up and “Dancing in the Moonlight” for the home stretch of their over 2 hour set. All held together by The Voice and songwriting of the incredible Orbisonish gift from Cuba–Raul Malo. The band fortuitously reunited in 2012, now in their 25th year–the perfect antidote to a long Edmo winter and concert drought.
Strange day overall–last day of winter, my first bike ride of the year in the morning, my daughter’s car problem, the premier’s sudden resignation; culminating in a great intimate concert with family. As always, no two days the same.
