After an interesting lunch at Asian Village, sat out back on the patio, enjoying the unbreezish springish warmth, watching a new squirrel, listening to the different bird sounds against the quietude, sipping tea from the Empress in Victoria. Worked well. A palpable still-point at the centre of the turning world. Nice to sl-o-w down after a busy week. A chance to sync with Nature, a pleasant engaging world far from the madding crowds and Friday traffic.
