Danielle Smith’s Insulting Middle Finger to Voters

who voted out Shandro, Madu, Copping, and other UCP cronies.

“Your votes didn’t count! I can bloody well do whatever I want. One-woman rule, baby!”
“I’m going to create a council of these corrupt, law-breaking losers, raise them from defeat, and pay them!

All this within 24 hrs. of cronies’ defeats. Breathtaking. The Real Danielle. Full-speed ahead! Viva The Republic of Alberta!

Danielle Smith First Post-election Screw-up:

Suggesting a council of defeated UCP cronies!

Stand by for stolen pensions, a private police force, accelerated private health care and the rest of the crapola we were warned about.

Give this woman a large sandbox to play in all by herself.

If the UCPS had any brains, they would have ‘cashiered’ her before the election.

I predict she’ll blow up herself within 2 months at this rate. She is incorrigibly ‘terminal’.

George Maharis Passes, 94

Maharis as Buz, right; Martin Milner as Tod, left; in the popular 1960s tv series Route 66.

After leaving the show, he continued to act in movies and touring dinner theatre shows such as this one in 1967: Barefoot in the Park, written by Neil Simon.

He originally wanted to be a singer and the album below was the first in a series of Lps he made:

Primary

“Teach Me Tonight”, his first 45 single from the above album was a top ten hit.

Maharis also wanted to be a painter as early as Route 66 and he ended up having exhibitions of his artworks.

“[S]he will not go behind his father’s saying.”–Robert Frost

Mindlessness personified.

Think of all those people without common sense, reason, open-mindedness, and critical reading/thinking skills that will simply vote for a flag in Alberta tomorrow. “My family has always voted Conservative.” The worst, dumbest, most absurd reason to vote tomorrow.

Be ready for lots of whining and moaning immediately if the Smith/UCP get elected again.

Paul Simon’s “Seven Psalms”: His Weakest ‘Album’ Ever

Truly banal, mediocre doggerel (“The Covid virus is the Lord”) and very uninteresting, thoroughly unimpressive guitaring. A 33 minute insult to his long-time fans. Not the album to finish a great career on: a veritable bomb. Hugely disappointing. (Move along, move along, folks.)

Subsequently (Sept. 20) Paul can be forgiven for this album–maybe his last–with his reported damaged hearing and his hanging up his performer shoes. He richly deserves his retirement with a catalogue and popularity rivaling Bob Dylan and The Beatles. A great songwriter who has already been honored many times for his work. So many other outstanding songs and albums to look back on.

Trudeau Completely Corrupt

with his buddy and neighbor David Johnston short-circuiting any kind of much-needed investigation into foreign interference. (This outcome was predictable given my previous blog entry.) Trudeau is hiding his support of Chinese interference. Basically, ‘treasonous’ behaviors.

Trudeau Funds a PQ Charity

that helped finance, according to the RCMP, a Canadian Chinese ‘police station’. Your federal government hard at work in protecting Canada’s interests.

Thank you, Danielle and UCP

for all those cutbacks to AB fire fighting. Without your care-less, dumb-ass decisions, Edmonton would not be the 7th most polluted city in the world this morning!
