On Language

Context is usually important, relevant to language situations.
Conventions can be stretchable depending on purpose, meaning and, context.
Precision in language use makes a big difference; it can mean the difference between life and death, success and failure, connection and isolation.
Much of language is practical, utilitarian prose, or not.
Language communicates or doesn’t.
Language ultimately reflects who you are and signals your character, your values, your attitudes, your sensibility, your education, your limits, and limitations.
