Edmonton City Will Go Broke,

as I’ve long predicted several times before in this blog, given the cost of the LRT expansion and the destruction of city roads and infrastructure everywhere. I was reminded of this today on an Easter Monday drive, dodging unfixed roads and potholes hither and yon around the wasteland this city has become. It is official; we now live in a city of ashes where 95% of buildings and stores are closed, many of them shuttered forever now or after the virus is ‘through’. Edmonton will never recover its once-functional status; the bad, lousy, dumb choices city council under Iveson have made during the past decade will ensure this.
