Covid will never be fully beat until vaccine mandates are applied.
(I have no problem with a health complications exemption. Other than that, various religions live within the greater Canadian society and populace affected by this pandemic and should be expected to get the vaccine.)
The employment mandates currently be enforced should not be a problem. If you want to work here, with us amongst others, thou must be vaccinated. House of Commons and the Senate to do the nations biz? Absolutely. (Why feckless Trudeau didn’t include the senate is another of his many goofs BTW.)
The number of police or military protesting this seem to suggest that a number of hard-line GOP/Conservative-style or redneck or dumb-ass ignoramuses in those ranks is, unfortunately, more than expected. Termination needs to be tempered with leaves or, possibly, Kenney-style ‘bribes’ to move the rebels and malingerers toward a common sense action supporting the public they deal with as well as each other.
Beyond that, if need be, leave or termination. More and new recruits are needed, with those newbies signing onboard to the vaccine from the get-go. The Canadian military needs new more enlightened males and more women recruits anyway to help change the slipshod culture of the past.
