Nice guy-need more of him and fewer trucker convoy types

Heard this morning on Global Edmonton.
Guy from Syria. Really wanted to come to Canada.
Hassled a lot on his way here; held up for a long time at an airport.
Started work as a coffee guy, but joined the Red Cross and went to work for them in remote Fort St. John.
Loves it there. Finally got to see the Northern Lights.
A family guy whose main goal in life is to be reunited with his family here in Canada, the country he appreciates.

This is the kind of person we need more of in Canada, not some asinine truck driver mouthing borrowed, mindless American platitudes about freedom, which they have no real understanding of, but which they want to impose on everyone in Canada.
