Canada’s Insane Policy of Not Locking up Crazy Killers

has to come to an end. This T.O. crazy who killed an innocent woman in a store with a knife should be locked up for life. (I agree that jail is not the place for her. But she needs to be contained away from the public as punishment. Cannibal-killer Vince Li should have likewise been locked up longer.)

For some weird reason Canada just gives free passes to these dangerous people. They are dangerous offenders like the sane offenders who get convicted. But no way they should be allowed to walk free sans consequences. The current policy of closing down mental institutions has to stop as this is the proper place for these people to go. There needs to be more justice for innocent, unsuspecting people being brutally murdered in public. This is just common sense, too–something sorely lacking in Canadian society today.

Oilers TV Broadcaster

Kevin Quinn has made a point for some time in calling Alexander Overchkin “the great ape”. He’s the only person I know who makes a point of calling this hockey great by an animal name. Why does he continue this insult?

Two Unique E-City Weather Aspects

Based on simple empirical observation.

1. If it’s a cloudy day to start, and if the sun is still going to come out, it will do so by noon-hour, more often than not.
2. If there’s a bad storm–rain or snow–it will often come in from the east or northeast.

North America: With no great culture

(Who needs Shakespeare in a dumbed-down, screen-obsessed North American society?)

(as in great books, great visual art, Great architecture, great music, great music, great thinkers, great men and women), there are no civilization, lofty ideals and idealism, optimism, confidence, higher education and learning, cultivated thinking or conversation, enlightenment, refinement, common courtesy, manners, and refinement of language, individuals and society.

Welcome to our restless, frightened, paranoid, soulless age with much alienation, much stupidity, many agendas, obsession with money or materialism, and little communication of consequence.
