co-authored with the multi-talented Jerry Wowk, 2008, authorized for grades 9-10 in SK and NS, is still available from Nelson Education. It features a process of writing approach for the essay. It was a vast improvement over the previous Gage handbook I’d done with Glen Kirkland. It used the process approach for tackling all aspects of writing. This was the last textbook I ever co-wriote.
Unfortunately, 2010’s Inside E-Media which was completely finished, including illustrations, did not get published. It would have been the only print and online resource of its kind in Canada. Ironically then, educational publishers were crying out for e-media/digital media resources, but didn’t want to take any financial risk (and so produced going-nowhere-fast cheapo resources). Too chicken to back up all their highlfalutin talk. Publishers? Don’t get me started.
