Also , BTW/ the funniest, most satirical Canadian novel.

And a very good movie adaptation with Paul Giamatti making the lead role his own 100%.

Not to be missed, too, is the strong movie version of The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz with the classic home movie featuring the late great Denholm Elliott as the drunken filmmaker and Richard Dreyfuss as Duddy in one of his best roles.
